FAQs
Questions Before You Book
A few gentle answers to help you feel prepared, reassured and more at ease before your first class.
Yes, absolutely. My classes are designed to feel welcoming and beginner-friendly. You will be gently guided throughout, with options offered so you can move at your own pace.
Not at all. Yoga is not about being flexible or getting into perfect shapes. It is about moving, breathing, listening to your body, and feeling more at ease.
That is completely okay. Many people feel nervous before their first class. You are welcome to take things slowly, rest whenever you need to, and ask questions at any time.
Please get in touch before booking if you have an injury, recent surgery, are pregnant, or have a health condition. I want to make sure the class feels appropriate for you. In some cases, I may suggest checking with a healthcare professional before attending.
Vinyasa yoga is a style of yoga where movement flows with the breath, moving gently from one posture to the next. Vinyasa can be fast or slow depending on the class and teacher. My classes are designed to feel calm, supportive and accessible, with slower transitions and mindful movement. While the practice can still build strength, balance and stability, the focus is on moving in a way that feels grounding and nourishing rather than intense or fitness-focused. Different options and variations are always offered throughout class, so you can choose the version of each posture that feels most supportive for your body on that day.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Mats and props are available at the studio if needed, but you are welcome to bring your own, or anything that helps you feel comfortable.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move and breathe in. You do not need anything special or expensive.
Most adult classes are 60 minutes. The Friday lunchtime Midday Reset classes are 45 minutes, designed to fit more comfortably into the working day. We always leave space to arrive gently, move mindfully, and rest at the end.
Life happens. Please check the cancellation policy and terms and conditions for full details, or contact me if you are unsure.
You can book your space securely through Bookwhen using the booking button on this page. If you have any questions before booking, you are very welcome to email or WhatsApp me first.
A class pass allows you to book multiple classes at a reduced rate and use them across any weekly adult classes. It offers a little more flexibility if you’d like to practise regularly or attend more than one class each week. Validity periods vary depending on the pass, and full details can be found at the time of booking.
